The sun was slowly raising over the last green hill in the kingdom. Cows and goats were already munching on grass and the crow was stealing some corn. A few people were starting to do chores, and soon childern would be called down to breakfest by their mothers. But this all seemed boring to the Cheese goddess. Every day this seemed to happen in the same order. Sun comes up, animals eat, people do chores, childern eat, Sun comes up, animals eat, people do chores, childern eat blah blah blah. Same old, same old. Couldn't something different happen for once? ANything? Just because she was a goddess didn't give her the power to do everything. All she really could do was make cheese, talk to cows, and talk in a insane way, no matter what. She had a few other odd jobs and power but nothing like the great gods and goddesses that the people worshipped. Did anyone worship her? Cow owners maybe...lovers of cheese, of course. But was that it? It must have been.
"That's it! I'm making a name for myself!"
She stood up, dusted a few clouds off and head towards the home of the great gods. She may have been young, but she knew she had to do it! She would have to leave the great Kingdom of the gods and travel around on the ground.
The cheese goddess slowly made her way towards the stand. She could barely see the other gods around her. She saw The Lemon god, and the Sky goddess, but they were easy to see, the other gods were not.
"Speak, child."
She cleared her throat and spoke out.
"Great gods and goddesses. I request that you give me premisson to leave the Kingdom of the gods of Nowhere and my Cheesey Kingdom to explore the world and make a name for myself. Please great ones, I beg for your answer."
She bowed and stood quietly. She could hear a mummer in the crowd. It had been a long time since a god had left the kingdom to explore the world below. IT was almost unheard of, but there were a few how had down so before, and they didn't ask.
"Cheese goddess. We have our answer."
She looked up quickly.
"My lord?"
She was nervous. Would they let her go?
"We have made a choice. YOu may go."
The crowd was in a up roar. The Cheese goddess did a jump for joy but suddenly a loud boom filled the air. The room was quiet again.
"We will let you go. BUT!"
"But?"
"QUIET!"
"Yes my lord.."
"But you must return to the Kingdom of the gods and your kingdom of Cheeseiness before the five Moons of Derandes line together and turn blue."
She looked up quickly.
"But that doesn't give me enough time to make a name for my.."
"QUIET! IF you do not return by that time, you will stay in the world below forever."
A mummer went through the crowd. The Cheese goddess bit her lip.
"And..."
"There's more!?"
"And if you don't return in time, you will stay there forever...as a mortal."
The mummer got louder.
"WHAT?!"
"I'm afriad so. You will lose you god like powers...what ever those are anyway...and stay a mortal. So you still wish to go?"
She took a sigh and thought for a moment. She looked at the faces of the gods around her.
"Yes."
No one spoke a word.
"Then Cheese goddess, leave and return before your time is up."
Suddenly a flash of lightening filled the room, Cheese goddess's head began to feel dizzy. Suddenly everything went blank.
"What's this? Wake up girl, wake up. What happend to ya? Where did ya come from? Girl?"
She felt someone shake her and she slowly opened her eyes.
"Who are you?"
